Upcoming Springer Rescue events in Georgia:

Come support English Springer Rescue and the new Canton off-leash dog park next Saturday, Sept. 11, at the 2nd Annual Canton Paw Park Chili Cook-Off at Brown Park on Elizabeth Street, across from city hall in downtown Canton.

Booth set-up begins at 8:30 a.m. and the first chili can be sampled as early as 10:30 a.m., with final judging at 1:30. In addition, there will be live bluegrass music, karaoke, car show and other family activities. ESRA representatives will be passing out information on our organization and a few of our available Springers will be on hand to meet and greet potential adopters and help solicit new volunteers.

There’s also still time to sign up for the chili cook-off. Advanced registration ends Monday but, as long as space is available, registrations will be accepted as late as the day of the event.

For more information on the 2nd Annual Canton Paw Park Chili Cook-Off, visit http://www.cantonpawpark.com/events.asp.
